Come be a part of the ACB Brenda Dillon Memorial Walk and ride in the West Virginia Walkers car on this train to support both the American Council of the Blind and the Mountain State Council of the Blind. Visit the below link to either make a donation or to register for the Walk as either an on-site Walker or a virtual Walker. This is the only train you can ride without being on site. All donations are tax deductible.

Demo of Free NLS Software Download

New Bus Service!

The West Virginia Division of Public Transit announced the addition of I-RIDE79 to the state’s public transit system.  It will offer service between Charleston and Morgantown beginning Tuesday July 1, 2014.

Welcome to the Mountain State Council of the Blind website. 

We are West Virginia’s state affiliate of the American Council of the Blind. 

Our mission is to advocate for the improvement of the social, economic, and cultural status of the blind and visually impaired of West Virginia.
