New Bus Service!

The West Virginia Division of Public Transit announced the addition of I-RIDE79 to the state’s public transit system.  It will offer service between Charleston and Morgantown beginning Tuesday July 1, 2014.

Welcome to the new and improved Mountain State Council of the Blind website. 

We are West Virginia’s state affiliate of the American Council of the Blind. 

Our mission is to advocate for the improvement of the social, economic, and cultural status of the blind and visually impaired of West Virginia. 

We have scholarship programs, assistive technology programs, and support the activities of the local chapters.  Please support us in those endeavors.  Supporting us can be as simple as staying in touch.  Join our email list by clicking here or participate in our monthly conference call.
